Shayden Morris has impressed so far in pre-season, and the speedy winger is relishing life under Barry Robson.
“Last season was tough for me with a few injuries and stuff, but I feel the gaffer has really progressed me personally, as he has a lot of the boys. I feel a lot sharper and fitter. I did a lot extra in the off-season. A lot of the boys who played had that extra rest.
“But I wanted to come back as one of the fittest and one of the sharpest and I feel like I have. The boss told me what he wants from me and has given me that confidence and a little boost.
“I suffered a hamstring injury last season too and got surgery, but it’s all good now. Some players come in and crack on straight away. I didn’t really get a run of games going but sometimes that happens. I’m just thinking about the future now.”
