Shay Stays!

Aberdeen FC is delighted to announce this morning that Shay Logan will be staying with the club, after the right back put pen to paper on a new two year deal.

The former Manchester City youngster joined the Dons on loan from Brentford on the 30 January 2014 and famously made his debut against St Johnstone in the League Cup semi-final.

Following a successful loan spell during the 2013/14 season, during which time he helped Aberdeen win the League Cup, Shay then signed a two year deal.

In his first full season at Pittodrie the 28 year old made 45 appearances and scored four times in all competitions. He was named in the PFA Scotland Premiership Team of the Year for 2014/15.

This season again he has been an almost ever present, making 41 appearances and has netted another four goals.
