Scott Brown Visits Cults Primary School

On Tuesday 4th November some lucky children from Cults Primary School got the chance to meet Aberdeen goalkeeper & Dons Day Out Ambassador Scott Brown!

The visit took place as a reward to Cults Primary School for their previous participation in our fundraising through football scheme, Dons Day Out, sponsored by CNR International (UK) Ltd.

The scheme encourages local community groups such as schools, youth clubs or amateur sports teams to raise funds by attending matches at Pittodrie.

Cults Primary School have taken advantage of the scheme in each of the last 3 seasons and are looking to take part in another Dons Day Out later this season.

Scott fielded questions from around 20 kids before conceding his first goals of the season as the Cults kids found the back of the net from the penalty spot!

The Dons keeper said, “As Dons Day Out Ambassador it’s great to get out and meet the children as a thank you for their participation in the scheme. As a player it’s great to see Pittodrie packed with young Dons fans and Dons Day Out is the perfect way of enjoying a VIP day out at the football while also raising much needed funds for schools or youth groups.”

During the 2013/14 season almost 1200 people participated in a Dons Day Out raising thousands of pounds for their groups in the process.

This Sunday 282 Dons Day Out participants will roar on The Dons as we take on Celtic at Pittodrie, why not sign up your group for one of our remaining fixtures and raise funds through football?
