Ryan puts pen to paper on new deal until 2016
Aberdeen FC is this morning delighted to announce Ryan Jack has signed a new contract that will see him remain with the Club until the summer of 2016.
The versatile youngster, who recently won a call up to the senior Scotland squad for their match against Croatia, has been a regular for the Dons since making his debut against Rangers in 2010.
Manager Derek McInnes commented. “I’m thrilled another player has committed his future to the Club for 3 years. I’m really looking forward to playing a part in Ryan’s development
“This is a strong statement from the Club as we look to re-build the squad and Ryan will be a very important player within that.”
Ryan added.”When the Club indicated they were keen for me to commit to a new deal it really was an easy decision for me to put pen to paper. Since their arrival, the manager and Tony have brought in new ideas and I am excited about the prospect of working with them both over the next few years. They are building a strong squad here and one which I hope can really challenge next season. As a local boy I am delighted I am going to part of that.”
Ryan will meet with the media at lunchtime today. RedTV will bring you full coverage of his interview shortly after.
