Ryan Jack spoke to REDTV after The Dons’ 1-0 win in Dingwall and looked ahead to Sunday’s big game against Celtic at Pittodrie
“A lot of people had their say when we had that disappointing result down at Hamilton. As a squad we knew we wanted to prove a lot of people wrong. Anytime we do have a disappointing result we always bounce back as a team and we have done this in the last three performances. Although we have only won each of the games 1-0, we could easily have won these games by a more commanding margin.
“We have looked really solid defensively and going forward we have looked really threatening so we have got the balance right. Things are looking up so we need to just keep the momentum going and hopefully put in another good performance on Sunday.
“Yes we could have won the game more comfortably tonight, we have hit the bar twice and missed a couple other chances, but the most important thing was the three points. It is very hard in this league to get a run of victories and to build up momentum so to keep picking up three points is the most important thing.
“We are on a good run so we just want to keep that going as long as possible.
“We have two very good goalkeepers at this club. Scott has been given a chance and has come in and done very well. He has had four clean sheets now and is looking confident but it has been a collective effort, a big effort from everyone to improve our defensive record.
“Despite the fact Celtic have a European game on Thursday, it will not make much difference. We know Sunday will be a very tough match, as it always is against Celtic. We are looking forward to the game though. There will be a great crowd and it is one all the boys are looking forward to. As I say we have built some momentum and we want to keep that going.”
