“It is tough to take.
“I am pretty much lost for words.
“The performance as a whole was good. We go behind but I always felt were still very much in the game. I thought we were doing ok. We had a lot of the possession and a lot of chances. It felt like much of the game was played in the Ross County half.
“Losing the first goal was a bit of a killer but we responded well after half time. We pressed well. Everyone was getting on the ball, everyone was looking to create. We get the equaliser and then tried to go and win the game. But we lose a shocking second goal. We have to hold our hands up and say it is not good enough conceding goals like that at this level.
“I felt the chances were there in the second half for us, even after we conceded the second goal but we were pulling the ball wide and snatching at things. That is what we didn’t want. We didn’t want to get desperate. That causes you to lose your composure and miss chances you should be taking. You miss the target when you should be hitting it.
“It is deeply frustrating.
“We know another defeat is not good enough. There is only one way to react and that is to get back on the training ground and work as hard as we can. We need to stick together and look forward to the Motherwell game.
“We know we have three must win games. We know playing for Aberdeen every game is a must win game. There is always that expectation and that demand. The players know that. And rightly so. That is why we are here.
“At the moment it is not good enough but in that dressing room I believe we have the players who have the ability and the character to answer up and react.”
