The Red Matchday team have produced a one off League Cup special for the Quarter Final at Pittodrie against Partick Thistle.
The player interview is with Dons vice-captain Ross McCrorie:
“The gaffer wants us to be attacking, high energy, he wants the boys to be to be athletic as well. It needs the boys to get about the pitch for the way we want to play with the high press. You definitely need good fitness levels to be able to do that.
“I definitely feel like I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been in, I feel like I can run all day. You get to 80 minutes in games and I’m still getting up into the box and then getting back or at centre-half, I’m making that run into the channel to cover.
“That’s down to the fitness work we’ve done with the gaffer and the coaching staff. It’s credit to them because I certainly feel the benefits in the game. I’m really happy with the intensity and the quality of training because my pet hate is when things drift away and get sloppy.
“That doesn’t happen because not just the coaching staff, but the players have got really high standards too, they demand that in training and I love that. I like the passing drills where you’re really drilling the ball in and it’s a proper standard. I think you have to train like you play.”

Also in issue 9, the AFC Former Players Association interview is with Billy Stark, a Q&A with Shayden Morris plus some special one-off features which include looking back some previous QFs at Pittodrie.
Please note, the latest set of AFC stickers will be in this edition.
