In the final Red Matchday Magazine of the season there is an interview with Connor Barron:

“It’s obviously been a tough season, especially in the league where until the last few weeks, it hasn’t been good enough. You learn a lot from bad experiences, that’s just part of the learning curve, picking up as much as you can from managers, staff that you work with, and players in the dressing room that come and go over time. You try to get these little nuggets off the experienced pros to take into your career going forward. I can say I’ve definitely had that over the last few years.

“For me, having the European stuff at the start was brilliant. Especially at my age to say I’ve played in Europe is a big thing for me. In the league, I think we have had good performances at times. We’ve just struggled to get things over the line in some games. It’s been difficult, but as a young player, it’s all about experiences for me. I’ve definitely picked up a lot of that, especially this season.”

Ahead of our final fixture of the season, we asked all Dons supporters to take a moment to pay respects to all members of the Dons family who have sadly passed away throughout this season. There will be a dedicated section of the programme to remember supporters, players, managers and staff.

Also, in Wednesday night’s programme the Q&A is with Killian Phillips, the AFC Women’s interview is with Hannah Innes and there is a special feature on the U18 League triumph. Plus, all the usual in-depth history articles and photos from the AFC archives.

The final 15 stickers for the 2023/24 AFC album are contained in the programme and there is a list of which programmes contain what stickers in case anyone is missing any to complete their collection.
