Ash Taylor spoke to RedTV to preview this weekend's game against Partick Thistle.
“It is going to another difficult game. Partick are a good side who do not give much away but we will be going all out to win.
“We are looking forward to it. The boys have all had a chance to freshen up the legs and the minds. Everyone is raring to go again.
“I think overall it has been a positive start to the campaign. I think we have done well to keep clean sheets. Defensively we have been good whoever has been playing.
“If you are keeping clean sheets then it is giving the boys in front of you confidence. It allows them to go and express themselves. Hopefully we can continue to defend well.
“I think the goals will come.
“We have bags of quality in the forward areas. We have so many good players in attacking areas I am sure one of them, if not all of them will start scoring goals. As soon as that happens we will win games.
“If everyone is on form then I think we will be a difficult side to beat. We have won a lot of games in previous seasons 1-0. That is one of the reasons the manager has brought in more attacking options so we can kill more games off. As I say the goals will come.
“It has been hard it recent weeks. It is hard because there is a demand physically on you but you are not getting any training in. You just move onto the next game. There is more recovery than training. It is difficult to get onto the training pitch so we can spend some time working on things.
“I think we are stronger for having come through that spell and as you have seen there are players who the manager can now put into the squad to freshen things up. There is more quality in the squad.
“There is healthy competition for places. It improves you as a player because you do not want someone else coming in and taking your place.
“Anthony O’Connor is a good lad to have around the changing room. He is a bit of a character. He has settled in really well and done well when he has played.”
