At Hampden on Saturday 24th May 2025, the Dons produced a performance that the rest of Scotland never saw coming, a display of guts, determination, quality and absolute belief which won Aberdeen Football Club a first Scottish Cup in 35 years, the first one of the 21st century, the eighth time they have lifted the trophy.

And if the players – and an extraordinary Aberdeen support at Hampden – can write history, then we had to write a book about it.

Coffee-table style and landscape format, across some 172 pages, the commemorative book charts the Dons’ Scottish Cup run, from Elgin to Ecstasy. It is photo led with hundreds of images from Newsline Media and our other photographers, many of them unseen from the final and the parade.

The official publication, written and edited by the Red Matchday team, has a limited-edition run of 2025. The first 500 copies were available online from the Curtis Sport website and the rest are now available in the AFC Club Shop.
