Opposition Watch

It was Dundee who emerged victorious last Saturday, running out as 2-0 winners at Dens Park.

The Dons will take comfort from their healthy record versus this weekend's opponents at Pittodrie.

In League Cup meetings, we have faced off eight times at home, Aberdeen winners on three occasions.

That last face-off came in August 2011, when Darren Mackie's 17th minute strike was enough to send The Dons into the third round.

A successful Group Stage Campaign

The Dons won 4/4 of their Group Stage games to earn a place in the last 16, while Dundee qualified after finishing second in Group D.

The draw for the Quarter-final stage is due to take place on Sunday following the conclusion of the Rangers vs St Mirren game at Ibrox.
