“The Hearts game being off on Tuesday was nothing that concerns us. It is just a normal week for us. We are just preparing for the game like we always do. Every game this season we have only worried about ourselves. We just concentrate on approaching the game the right way and making sure the right Aberdeen team turns up.
“All season we have just looked at winning the game that has been put in front of us and getting the three points. The way we have played this season, we have been up near the top of the table which has meant every three points have been massive. I know some people have said this game is bigger or that is one is bigger but every match and every three points have been huge.
“We take it one game at a time. Come Friday it is Hearts and it again it is a massive game.
“Hamilton showed us at our best. When we get the ball down and go at teams and are attacking, I think the key thing is the pace that we go at. When we have boys on form and boys running at that pace then we are very difficult to beat. I think that is our biggest asset. We were very free flowing and I had very little to do. I was able to sit back and watch the boys run riot. “We want more of the same and to keep that going.
“Jonny Hayes has been unbelievable in recent weeks. He has been incredible in training again this week. There have been other games this season when we have been well on top but not managed to take our chances. On Sunday we were clinical. In the second half we had more chances and if the score had been five or six I think there would have been few complaints.
“We know Friday will be a very different type of game. Hearts are having a very good season themselves and are going well. It is a big game for them as well as they will be looking to close the gap. They are in a similar position to us, every match they have played this season has been a big game.
“I am sure it will be a great game.
“I know all our tickets have been sold for this match. The supporters have been brilliant all season, home and away. They have turned up in their numbers. It is great to have that backing. They are always vocal and loud down there and hopefully we can give them a result and a performance that will make them go home happy.
“All we can do is concrete on every game. Teams in the past who start getting ahead of themselves often trip themselves up. We have always been in the mind-set that we take it one game at a time.
“Since the manager and Tony have come in we have only looked at one game at a time. It has served us well so there is no need to change that approach.
“All we can do is concentrate on winning every game. What will happen, who knows? All I can say is that we will go out and try and win every game. We will then see where it takes us.”
