Loan Watch: Weekend Preview

With no Men's First Team game this weekend, it's time to check in on what our players out on loan are getting up to.

Dylan Lobban - Dunfermline Athletic

Dylan will be hoping to make his full Dunfermline debut this weekend when they visit Livingston.

Lobban featured off the bench on Saturday to make his Pars debut in their loss at home to Ross County in the Premier Sports Cup.

Alfie Stewart & Alfie Bavidge - Inverness Caledonian Thistle

The Alfie's have acclimatised nicely to life in the Championship so far, starting both league games and their recent trip to face Hearts in the Premier Sports Cup.

The duo, as they often do, linked up superbly well to allow Bavidge to get on the scoresheet at Tynecastle, the forward on the end of Stewart's inch perfect ball.

They will be keen to keep the good form going when they head for Partick Thistle on Friday night, live on BBC Scotland.

Joseph Teasdale, Dylan Ross, Lewis Carrol, Jack Searle, Zak To - Cove Rangers vs Peterhead

Balmoral Stadium is the place to be on Saturday if you are keen to see how our young Dons are finding senior football, with up to five involved in Saturday's clash between Cove Rangers and Peterhead.

Teasdale and Ross's Cove side are yet to pick up their first league victory of the season, with the latter yet to feature in the competition due to injury.

The Peterhead boys have two wins from three on their record, and come into things off the back of a 2-1 win over East Fife, Zak To netting a 90th minute penalty for the winner, Searle claiming his first assist for the Blue Toon in the same game.

Aaron Cummings, Sam McLean - The Spartans vs Elgin City

Aaron and Sam head for the capital this weekend, with their Elgin City side taking on The Spartans.

Cummings' has featured on three occasions so far for the League 2 toppers, with McLean making his debut in their win over Kelty Hearts on Saturday.

Rodrigo Vitols - Lossiemouth vs Fraserburgh

Into the Highland League now.

Starting with 'keeper Rodrigo at Fraserburgh, Vitols has been given the nod in all three Broch games since his arrival, recording two clean sheets in the process.

They will be hoping to bounce back from midweek defeat at Inverurie Locos when they head for Lossiemouth on Saturday.

Jay Henderson, Bradley Chikomo - Turriff United vs Strathspey Thistle

Henderson and Chikomo's Turriff United welcome Strathspey to The Haughs this weekend.

The pair were both involved in their loss at Banks o'Dee on Wednesday night, Defender Jay starting at Spain Park, with striker Bradley featuring off the bench.

Max Pocklington, Heath Duncan - Formartine United vs Keith

Our Aberdeenshire Cup Quarter-final opponents from Tuesday night will welcome Pocklington and Duncan back to the fold ahead of Saturday's trip to North Lodge Park.

The two have been in fine form of late, with Max assisting Heath in consecutive games, against both Clachnacuddin and Lossiemouth.

JJ Hulse, Theo Simpson - Invergordon vs Buckie Thistle

Winger Hulse will be keen to keep up his fine run of form when Buckie travel up to the Highlands on Saturday to take on Invergordon. He has three Highland League goals to his name so far for the campaign, netting against Banks o'Dee, Strathspey Thistle, and Brora Rangers.

Young goalie Simpson will be hoping to establish himself as the number one at Victoria Park, he has featured once in the Highland League so far this season.

James Jarvie - Deveronvale vs Forres Mechanics

Last but not least, James Jarvie and Deveronvale host Forres Mechanics on Saturday afternoon at Princess Royal Park.

Jarvie was an unused substitute last week against Rothes, although he has featured in their four other league games so far this season.
