“I was little bit surprised to be honest when I heard the news that I had been nominated for the PFA Scotland Player of the Year Award. You never really know what other players are thinking when it comes to this type of thing. I was very pleased to be nominated and honoured.   “To get a bit of recognition from other teams and other players, I must have done something right. Other people in the game, you respect their options. It is not just about me though, it reflects well on the team as a whole”.
