The club can this afternoon confirm Jeffrey Monakana has returned to his parent club, Brighton, following his loan spell with the Dons.

Manager, Derek McInnes added. “Having spoken to the Chief Executive at Brighton they have taken  the decision to recall Jeff in order to assess his situation further.

“The possibly of him going out on loan again hasn't been ruled out so there may an option for him to rejoin us at the end of the month.

“Everyone at the club would like to thank Jeff for his contribution during his time here.”
