The final international window of 2025 has come to a close as domestic action prepares to take a front seat for the next few months.

We look back on how our international Dons got on over the past 10 days.

Dylan Lobban – Scotland U21s

A remarkable few weeks has continued for Dylan who was drafted into the Scotland U21s squad for the first ever time. A graduate of the AFC Youth Academy, he came off the bench just after half-time to make his Scotland U21 debut in the young Scots 2-0 away win over Gibraltar. The right back followed that up by playing the full 90 minutes and helping his side to a clean sheet  in a 1-0 victory over Bulgaria at Fir Park on Tuesday evening.

Scot Gemmill’s side close out the year sitting third in their UEFA Under 21 Qualifying group, level on points with second placed Czechia, and three points behind Portugal who occupy top spot.

Dimitar Mitov – Bulgaria

The Dons number one played the full match in both of Bulgaria’s matches as they rounded off their World Cup Qualifying campaign. They lost out 2-0 to Türkiye on Saturday but ended the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Georgia in Sofia.

Topi Keskinen – Finland

Finland finished third in their World Cup Qualifying group, despite losing out to Malta in their final match. Topi replaced Rangers winger Oliver Antman for the closing stages of the match in Helsinki. He played the full 90 minutes in Finland’s 4-0 friendly over Andorra on Monday night. It was an emotional night for Finland as former Norwich and Celtic striker Teemu Pukki played his final international match, with the forward scoring and assisting another as he bowed out at the international stage.

Kjartan Már Kjartansson – Iceland U21s

The young midfielder was an unused sub as Iceland defeated Luxembourg 3-1 in a UEFA U21 Qualifying match. The win leaves Iceland on eight points, two points behind group leaders France and a point behind second placed Faroe Islands.

Rodrigo Vitols – Latvia U19s

The young goalkeeper played in all three of Latvia’s matches as they progressed to the Elite Qualifying Round as they look to progress to the U19 Euro’s in Wales next year. Latvia drew with Scotland, lost to England but a a 2-1 victory over Lithuania means they advance to the next stage of qualifying.
