After the 2-1 win over Livingston, Barry Robson underlined what an important win it was for his side.
“Getting the win was all that mattered tonight.
“It’s not easy coming into a game four days after a cup final. A game of that magnitude takes a lot out of you mentally and physically, so I was a wee bit concerned. But the boys have a good spirit, and they want to win games. We probably started a bit slowly but we grew into the game and we showed resilience when we went behind.
“We started to perform and Bojan scored two great goals for us and probably could have had one or two more in the end. When he first came to the club, there were things in his game where he need to improve but he’s done that. He’s taken things on board and worked hard, but he’s also built good relationships with Duk and Ester Sokler too, which is important. He enjoys the way we want to play on the transition, the way we try to find him all the time and play at speed.
“We always knew November and December were going to be tough months for us but this was an important win and from here, we need to get our heads down and get the points to move up the table before the break. We need to work hard as a team, we stick together, and we have to try and perform to the best level we possibly can until the break comes.”
