Once again we are calling on the Red Army to Don their tartan and get involved in this year’s Aberdeen Kiltwalk!   The recruitment drive for the event, which will take place on 5th June, has been kicked-off with the full support of Aberdeen FC’s Simon Church and Niall McGinn and it is hoped that a large team of Dons supporters will join the Aberdeen FC Community Trust team.   Former Dons captain, Russell Anderson also joined up with AFCCT’s Honorary Ambassador, Craig Brown to support the initiative and call on the support of AFC’s 12th man.   When asked about how supporters could help AFCCT, through Kiltwalk, Russell said: “Supporters who get involved and nominate AFCCT as their chosen charity will make a real contribution to supporting our charity and other local children’s charities. The fans are famous for their support throughout Scotland and it would be great if they could channel that sort of backing through Kiltwalk to help provide support and opportunity for children throughout the North East.”

By taking part in the event this June 100% of the money that you raise will go directly to AFCCT with any gift aid applicable going to the benefit of local children’s charities, causes and initiatives via Kiltwalk.
