Cammy becomes a Buddy

Aberdeen striker Cammy Smith has had his season long loan at Dundee United terminated and has now joined St Mirren on loan until the end of the season. The 21-year-old made 22 appearances for the Tannadice club, scoring 5 goals but will now join fellow Don Craig Storie in Paisley for the remainder of the 2016/17 campaign. Cammy who came through the Dons youth system, made his first team debut on 21 April 2012, coming on as a 54th minute substitute against Inverness Caledonian Thistle. He went on to score his first senior goal with a header in a 1-1 draw at Inverness CT on 15th September 2012.

He went on to score his first senior goal with a header in a 1-1 draw at Inverness CT on 15th September 2012. He picked up the Aberdeen Young Player of the Year award two seasons ago and has represented Scotland at U16, U17 and U19 level. Cammy played against ICT in the League Cup final victory in 2014 and was instrumental in helping the U20s win the Development League the following year.

Over the past six seasons Cammy has made 91 appearances for the Dons and scored 4 goals.
