St mirren preview-4 Image

We're back at Pittodrie on Saturday as St Mirren make the trip north for our latest William Hill Premiership fixture.

The Dons will be looking to get back to winning ways in the league after Sunday's defeat to St Johnstone.

Tickets are available online now.

Opposition Watch

St Mirren arrive at Pittodrie sitting seventh in the Premiership table, with three wins, one draw and four defeats from their opening eight league matches.

The Buddies have endured a difficult run going into Saturday, losing their last three league outings. Saturday saw them suffer a 5-0 defeat away to Hearts, following losses against Dundee United and Rangers.

Goals have been hard to come by of late: former Dons loanee Killian Phillips leads the way with three to his name for the season. For all their troubles going forward, their three clean sheets is the third highest out of any team in the league, and the most out with Celtic and Rangers.

Stephen Robinson

“The players believe in what they're doing. I need to make sure they get that belief onto the pitch and take the decision making that I see in training and the quality I see in training onto the pitch, especially at home when it's a hard club to play for because the expectations are high, but that's why they've all worked so hard to get to here.

“It’s important that we give them the confidence to step up.”

“Expectation should be high every game that we play out here. “We play for Aberdeen, and we're good players and we have to go out and show and give the fans what they pay for.”
