Aberdeen FC is delighted to announce a new technical partnership with Italian sportswear brand Macron.
This new multi-year agreement marks a significant commercial milestone for the Club, with Macron becoming the Dons’ official kit supplier.
As Official Technical Partner, Macron will design, develop and supply high-performance apparel for coaching staff and teams across the Club, from the First Team to the Academy and Women’s side, as well as a dedicated range of supporter clothing and merchandise.
The agreement will take effect ahead of the 2026/27 Scottish Premiership season. Under the partnership, the Club and Macron will collaborate on fully bespoke match-day and training collections, designed to deliver performance, comfort and style.
Each range will be created at the Macron Campus in Bologna, Italy, using the latest fabric technology while reflecting Aberdeen’s identity, its strong community ties and the loyalty of its supporters.
Macron is one of Europe’s leading teamwear brands, supplying many of the continent’s most recognised clubs and national teams. Founded in Bologna in 1971, the company has earned a strong reputation for quality, technical innovation and bespoke design, producing kits that reflect the identity and values of every club it partners with.
“Our new partnership with Macron is one of the most significant commercial deals in the Club’s history,” said Alan Burrows, Chief Executive of Aberdeen FC.
“Macron’s reputation for quality, design and close collaboration with clubs to capture their identity made them the right choice for Aberdeen FC following a highly competitive process.
“From our earliest conversations, it was clear that Macron understood what Aberdeen FC means to its supporters and had the creativity and ambition to match that. What makes this partnership especially exciting is the opportunity to offer fans truly bespoke kits, which we believe will be important as we continue to grow the retail side of the business.
“The new kit ranges will reflect various aspects of AFC’s and Aberdeen’s unique identity. We are sure our fans will be impressed by both the designs, but also the quality of the garments when we launch the first our kits later this month.”
Gianluca Pavanello, CEO of Macron, added:
“Aberdeen FC is a name that resonates across European football, a club built on grit, identity and unwavering support. We are proud to welcome the Dons to the Macron family. The United Kingdom is our most important market worldwide, and Scotland is central to that story. This partnership reflects our ambition, and we will bring all our expertise, passion and dedication to support Aberdeen on and off the pitch for years to come.”
Further details on the new kit range, including on-sale dates, will be announced in due course.
