Yesterday (11th April) was the 43rd anniversary of one of Aberdeen’s greatest ever triumphs – the 1970 Scottish Cup victory over Celtic

. This clip features the match highlights, interviews with Joe Harper, Derek McKay, Bobby Clark and Martin Buchan – many feel the young captain’s performance that day was one of the best by any Aberdeen player ever.

There is also the incredible uncut footage of the teams return to Aberdeen and the parade down Union Street where over 100,000 fans turned out to welcome the side home.

After the 70 final the Dons still had two league games to play after it, away to Hibernian and Motherwell.
