FAQs

AberDNA is a membership initiative which aims to capture the imagination of not only local, but national and international supporters. Unlike season tickets or other memberships, all profits from AberDNA will be used exclusively to support the Football Operation.

In return for your support of the Football Operation, via a monthly or annual payment plan, supporters can join one of eight different membership categories and in return will receive a range of benefits, including a replica shirt, the ability to earn Dons Cash on season tickets and club merchandise, which can then be used to save money across the club.

Over 10,000 members are now signed-up directly contributing towards our aim of becoming the Best Developer of Young Talent in Scotland.

By becoming an AberDNA member you will receive a whole host of benefits depending on whether you sign-up to a Platinum, Premium +, Premium, International, Standard, Youth, U12 or the FREE Junior membership. Benefits include hospitality places, recognition in the Tunnel at Pittodrie, AFC Priority Points and a free replica shirt!

If you are looking to change membership category then please contact [email protected] with a note of your Dons ID and the change you are looking to make and they will arrange this for you.

Alternatively, you can visit Pittodrie Ticket Office or call 01224 63 1903 Monday to Friday 9:30am-5pm or Saturday 9:30am-3pm.

Unfortunately, we are not able to facilitate these changes online presently.

Members who pay for their membership by Direct Debit will renew automatically. All those who signed up during the previous season and renew their Membership will also receive a souvenir pack.

Supporters who paid their membership in full will need to renew to continue supporting the Football Operation.

There are several ways to renew:

One of the easiest ways to renew your membership is online, simply log in to your account online here, select which membership you want to renew and click ‘add to basket’ then ‘renew’ and finally ‘add to basket’ again.

You can sign-up at any point and your membership will be valid for 12 months from the point of purchase.

There is also an option for international supporters to pay their membership by continuous authorisation. Please contact the Supporter Engagement Team on 01224 63 1903 or alternatively arrange a call back by emailing [email protected]

Each member must commit to a minimum of 12 months. All supporters will be contacted ahead of their renewal date. Once a seasonal benefit has been claimed for a second time (i.e. Hospitality places, Dons Cash earned on Season or Match Tickets, Replica Shirt, Souvenir pack, etc) the member has signed up for an additional 12 months to the membership on top of their original 12 months. This is applicable with every year a seasonal benefit is claimed.

When a scheduled payment is not received the club will endeavour to make contact with you to re-establish the Direct Debit. If contact cannot be made, the membership and all associated benefits (such as access to the stadium) will be suspended until payment has been made.

You can claim your FREE Home, Away or 3rd Kit annually after they are launched*. Full details on how to claim your FREE shirt will be sent via email to all members and will be available on the club website.

Please ensure that your postal address, contact number and e-mail address are up to date on your ticketing account, simply sign-in to your Dons account here.

Please note, the Shirts will be available for collection from the AberDNA Hub and any shirts ordered for postage will be sent to the address on your ticketing account.

Members must have paid at least 1 month’s membership fees prior to your shirt being shipped.

All new Members who signed up prior to 31 August will be entitled to an exclusive souvenir pack. Members who signed-up throughout the previous season and renewed their membership will also be entitled to this pack.

Once they become available, full details on how to claim your pack will be sent via email to all members and will be available on the club website.

Please note that your ticketing, shop or RedTV account linked must be the Dons ID which holds your AberDNA membership in order to receive your Dons Cash.

Dons Cash should appear as pending within your balance within 24 hours and will be available to spend:

Season Tickets – 14 days after date of purchase Retail – 30 days after date of purchase (After expiry of return period) Match Tickets – 1 working day after Matchday RedTV Annual Subscriptions – 14 days after date of purchase Hospitality – 1 working day after Matchday AberDNA Premium+ Starting Balance – 30 days after date of purchase

Season Tickets

When buying a season ticket online Dons Cash will automatically be applied to your account.

Dons Cash will also be applied automatically when you quote your Dons ID when buying over the phone.

Club Shop

When purchasing Merchandise from the Online Store Dons Cash will automatically be applied to your account.

Members can claim their discount in store by presenting their Digital Membership card. If you do not have a Digital Membership card, members can claim their discount by presenting photo ID and quoting their Dons ID.

Match Tickets

This benefit will also be enabled automatically online when a member adds any home league (or European) match ticket to their basket.

Dons Cash will also be applied automatically when you quote your Dons ID when buying over the phone.

Please note that this is only applicable if you do not hold a Season Ticket under the same name.

RedTV

The Dons Cash will be automatically added upon the purchase of your annual* RedTV subscription online.

*Please note that the discount is only applicable on subscriptions paid in full and not monthly subscriptions.

Hospitality

Members can claim their Dons Cash when purchasing hospitality over the phone by quoting your Dons ID. For the Dons Cash to be added to all the relevant parties at your table, you must provide the Names and Dons IDs of all Members at your table when booking.

Members will also be able to earn their Dons Cash online.
