Kieran Ngwenya heads out on loan

Kieran Ngwenya has joined cinch Championship side Partick Thistle on loan and will spend the 2023/2024 season at Firhill Stadium.

The 20-year-old from Edinburgh made his Aberdeen debut in a league win over Ross County in December 2020 and has since made one more appearance for the first team. He was also involved in the pre-season games at Turriff and Fraserburgh this summer.

In March 2021, Kieran moved on loan to Cove Rangers in Scottish League One, making seven appearances before the left-back made his international debut for Malawi in a friendly against Tanzania in June 2021. A season later he helped Kelty Hearts win Scottish League Two title, making 27 appearances for the Fife club. Last season he played 30 times in the Championship for Raith Rovers.

Under the constant eye of Pathways Manager Neil Simpson, the other development Dons who are out on loan this season are: Evan Towler (Montrose), Aaron Reid (Peterhead), Finlay Murray (Turriff United) , Liam Harvey and Blair McKenzie (Elgin City), Adam Emslie and Dylan Lobban (Formartine United).
