DEVELOPMENT LOANEES | UPDATE

Aberdeen FC tonight provides the following update on the loan status of its development players.

Mason Hancock has been recalled from his loan spell at Arbroath as a result of a serious knee injury. The 19-year-old left sided defender, who made his Aberdeen debut in the League Cup earlier this season, playing in all four group games, made an additional 13 appearances for the Championship side. Everyone wishes Mason well with his rehabilitation.

Kevin Hanratty has also returned to Cormack Park after his loan spell with Forfar Athletic. The 19-year-old attacking midfielder played 16 games for the League Two side.

Aaron Reid has now officially become an Aberdeen player after completing his move from Turriff United. The striker has immediately been loaned out to Elgin City for the remainder of the campaign and the 18-year-old could feature for the League Two side when they play Forfar tomorrow.

Kieran Ngwenya’s stay at Raith Rovers has been extended until the end of the season. The 20-year-old has made 16 appearances for the Stark’s Park side.
