As the league breaks for the World Cup, six of our Dons will be away on international duty. Connor Barron, Ylber Ramadani, Bojan Miovski, Liam Scales, Ryan Duncan and Evan Tolwer will all be off representing their respective nations over the coming week. Here is who they will be facing:

Connor Barron – Scotland U21

Connor has returned to the Aberdeen first team in impressive fashion after missing a large chuck of the first half of the season due to injury. He netted his first Dons senior goal in our defeat to Rangers at Ibrox. The midfielder has three caps so far for Scotland U21s and impressed in his last outing for Scot Gemmill’s side, a 0-0 draw away to Belgium at the start of June.

Ryan Duncan & Evan Towler – Scotland U19

Ryan and Evan will both join up with the Scotland U19s as they play three games in six days as they look to qualify for the 2023 European Championships. Both made their U19 debut earlier this year, with Ryan picking up three caps and Evan has two caps to date for the U19s.

Liam has been called up by his national side for their upcoming friendlies. The defender could come up against Manchester City striker Erling Haaland when Norway visit Dublin on Thursday evening. The on-loan Celtic centre back has been named in a couple of squads for Ireland but has yet to pick up a senior cap.

International Friendly | Albania v Armenia | 19/11/22 | Kick-off: 4.30pm | Air Albania Stadium

After impressing in the heart of the Aberdeen midfield this season, Ylber will once again join up with his national side. He will face Roberto Mancini’s Italy who failed to qualify for this years World Cup. He has 22 caps for his national team and has scored once.

Bojan Miovski – North Macedonia

International Friendly | North Macedonia v Azerbaijan  | 20/11/22 | Kick-off: 1.00pm | Philip II Arena

Bojan joins up with his national side in great scoring form having scored 12 goals in total since joining The Dons in the summer. The 23 year-old has 12 caps for his national side, scoring once.

Aberdeen Youth Academy players Fletcher Boyd and Lewis Carrol will also join up with the Scotland U15s for a training camp.

Good luck to all of the guys with their respective nations!
