2017 AFC Hall of Fame

11 November 2017

This evening the AFC Hall of Fame welcomed more Pittodrie greats to its esteemed list. The event recognised the efforts and contributions of people who made an impact during their time at the Club and this year four legends took their rightful place in the Hall of Fame.

Former League and Cup winning winger Graham Leggat was posthumously inducted and his family, whom had flown in from Canada, were there to collect his award. Graham was an instrumental figure in helping the Club capture their earliest successes.

The trio that followed Graham into the Hall of Fame were Gothenburg Greats Neale Cooper, John McMaster and Archie Knox. Between them they hold 18 winning medals and were part of a golden era at Pittodrie, which established Aberdeen as one of the top teams in Europe.

The evening was a fantastic one for all involved and all four inductees richly deserve their places at AFC’s top table.
