AFCCT & CFCF team up for SensationALL can collection

Aberdeen FC Community Trust (AFCCT) is delighted to be working with Celtic FC Foundation (CFCF) to support a match-day collection between both sets of fans at the upcoming fixture on Wednesday 25th October at Pittodrie for SensationALL.

The objective is to raise the profile of SensationALL to complement their fundraising campaign in support of their varied programmes for families living with the special challenges associated with Autism, learning difficulties and disabilities generally.

SensationALL is a young and dynamic charity established in 2012, based in Westhill to serve primarily the North East of Scotland. The charity’s main purpose is to assist those with Multiple Support Needs and their families by providing therapeutic sensory activities and support networks, training in therapeutic techniques and activities and opportunities for play and social integration.

Bob McCracken, Chairman of SensationALL’s Board of Trustees said, “We are delighted to be associated with two such prominent charities and hope that we can build on this initiative for the benefit of the communities in which we work.”

Aberdeen FC Community Trust ‘provide support and opportunity’ to changes lives for the better. As Scotland’s first award winning Autism Friendly football club, Aberdeen FC and AFCCT are committed to being as inclusive as possible and to developing the most user-friendly experience possible for all football supporters and their families and friends.

Ally Prockter, Chief Executive of AFCCT commented, “We are committed to providing community benefits right across the North East of Scotland and our relationship with SensationALL is a very visible sign of that commitment.”

‘Football for Good’ represents Celtic FC Foundations priority to provide assistance to those who face daily challenges within their key focus areas of HELP (Health, Equality, Learning, Poverty). The award winning ‘Ability Counts’ programme includes projects in the Autism domain designed simply to make the lives of those in our communities better.

Tony Hamilton, Chief Executive of CFCF, who visited SensationALL’s facilities in Westhill added, “The SensationALL team are doing a terrific job in providing specialist and much needed services for the community and we are pleased to support their endeavours.”
