Aberdeen Women return to action for 2023 on Sunday when they host Hutchison Vale in the 4th Round of the Scottish Cup. Kick-off is 4pm at the Balmoral Stadium.

The Dons last game was back on December 4th against Spartans, where they drew 1-1. Academy Director Gavin Levey previewed the game. To watch in full on RedTV, please click on the red button.

“For us we have to go and build on that Spartans performance which was good but it could be better. We are using this game as a chance to build again and hopefully it is a chance for us to win and to get through to the next round of the cup and to also try and get a bit of momentum going in the weeks to come. We find ourselves at home for the next two games after this one as well.

“We have got to do what we have got to do and get round everyone together and try to get the best out of every single training session that we have or every analysis session or team meeting that we have. Everyone that I am working with, Claire Garrett, Mark Emslie, Beth Walker the physio and Matthew Mackie the goalkeeping coach, we are all people who don’t do anything by halves. If we are going to do something then we will do it properly and we are going to give our all to this. We see this as a project but one that everyone is 100% dedicated to and I think that is rubbing off a little bit on the girls just now. They seem to come in and cross that line on training nights and give their absolute all.”
