Ross McCrorie on RedTV
Ross McCrorie was left disappointed that the Dons weren’t able to end Livingston’s unbeaten run as the sides fought out a 0-0 stalemate.
“It was a disappointment to only draw. We’re not bothered about the run they were on, we’re Aberdeen and we’ve come down here to win the game, so it’s frustrating to have dropped a couple of points because I thought we were the better team. I didn’t think they really created very much, so it is disappointing not to have won the game.
“All we can do is concentrate on ourselves, work hard in training and in games and pick up as many points as we can. I think we’ve been playing well apart from the game at Ross County, but obviously we need to take our chances. The goals are all that’s lacking at the moment but if we keep plugging away, I’m sure that will come.
“We all need to chip in, whether it’s the attacking players, or boys coming up for set pieces and scoring goals like we had against Motherwell last weekend. I had a chance in the second half. It was a tight angle and the goalkeeper’s made a good save but I’d have liked to bury that one. We’ve had so many shots at goal in the last few games and all of us have to take the responsibility to score the goals if a chance comes our way.
“Defensively, we’ve been keeping the back door shut which is very important, that’s giving us a good platform to build from, but we need to get the small details right when we get chances to score goals. The important thing is we are creating chances though, and if we keep doing that, we’ll turn the corner in front of goal.”
