RedTV | Derek McInnes Celtic Preview

Refresh

The manager spoke to the media today to preview Sunday’s game with Celtic. First, he paid tribute to former Aberdeen manager Ebbe Skovdahl who sadly passed away today at the age of 75.

“A lot of people are still at the club who worked with Ebbe. He left his mark on the club, he was a huge figure and very popular among the staff here. It is a sad day for his family and for the club. I was quite shocked when I heard, I was unaware that he was in ill health.

“I didn’t know him, and I never met him. A lot of the stories and the affection that he had carried on. It is not always the case that people come into clubs and have a positive impact, there was a lot of goodwill towards him from staff who worked with him. It is a sad day for everybody who did know him and he certainly left his mark on the club.”
