“We knew what we were going to get from Livingston.

“They make it very hard for you. So we have worked all week on what we had to do to cause them problems.

“Thankfully the work we put in on the training pitch paid off and we got the three points.

“I was pleased to get the goal. The disappointing thing was that we did not kick on from there. Being at home, and with the crowd we had here today, we wanted to score more goals.

“We also wanted clean sheet.

“We are disappointed to have conceded. Once we lost the goal though we managed the game well to make sure we did not concede again. Lewis and Curtis did well to take the ball into the corners to run the clock down.

“We will take the three points and move on.

“I have played with Bruce from a very young age. As soon as he gets the ball in that area, you know that his is going to score. I knew the end result. It was a great finish.

“It was good for the AFC Youth Academy today with the two of us scoring, and also Dean getting on as well. If you look through the side that was on the pitch today, we had a lot of young boys playing. You forget how young Scott McKenna and Lewis Ferguson are. Zak Vyner as well.

“It was my first start in a while so hopefully I can now build on it. Hopefully I can be involved on Sunday.”
