“Even Lawrence admitted to me that it had hit his hand.
“Sometimes you get these ones and sometimes you do not.
“We created chances in the final third, but we just couldn’t put one of them in the back of the net.
“We are all frustrated because we know that the performance was good, and we are all disappointed that we didn’t put the ball in the back of the net. If we look at the positives, we got a point and a clean sheet.
“The formation is suiting us at the moment having three at the back.
“We have got to keep the momentum going and it is still a point, and we look forward to Tuesday now.
“Joe has pulled off a great save at the end and it shows you his worth to us. When he is called upon, he pulls off those big saves. It was a brilliant save.
“We have competition all over the park. That is what you need at a football club to keep pushing each other on. If you look at the players coming off the bench, they can turn a game for us because they are experienced boys and they know the game.
“I am glad we have the game on Tuesday, it can’t come quick enough. Hopefully, we can create the same number of chances as we did today and stick them into the back of the net. It will be a tough game as it always is with them, but we are at home and we have to and get the three points.”
