“Despite losing the late goal against Ross County, the mood within the squad is something that never gets shaken. We look forward all the time, we move past things. We do go back if we need to assess something that happened in a game.
“But more often than not, our training sessions are lively, spirits are high. We don’t really dwell on anything for too long.
“It’s massive and we are going to have to impose ourselves.
“We are going to have to take the game to them. There is going to be moments where we have to defend and sit in as a team but ultimately we want to express ourselves and show what we can do.
“I think Liam and I, we complement each other’s strengths.
“There are some things that I am not exactly strong at that he is stronger at and I think that is what a balance of centre-halves is about, one that is going to be more dominant and one that is going to be more expressive on the ball.
“I think we balance each other very well.
“The fans have surprised me, they are a lot more passionate than they are in England, which is a good thing,” he said. “They are just more passionate in terms of losing is not accepted and they just want the best every time.
“I think pressure is a thing regardless of what club you are at, we have got to deal with that. It boosts us on to want to do better.”
