“We spent quite a lot of time last week reflecting on the Partick Thistle defeat.
“It was just not a performance we were happy with. As a group we had a debrief about the game and wanted to make sure it did not happen again.
“It was a reminder to us, in this league, if you don’t play well you will lose games.
“So went into the Kilmarnock game on Sunday really positive and had a good mindset to go and make up for the loss, our first of the season. We were after a good performance and a victory and we achieved both. I was very proud of the girls.
“Prior to the Partick game we had been very strong defensively, and had been scoring a lot of goals as well as not conceding. So I feel with the clean sheet we have got right back on track. Although the goals quite late on in the game on Sunday, I felt we dominated and could have scored more, but you have to give credit to Kilmarnock who had a game plan and were difficult to break down. They also created a few chances on the break.
“Stirling on Sunday will be another difficult test away from home. All the away games are tough with the COVID regulations. The preparation on a matchday is different but it is something we are getting used to.
“They came down from SWFL1 last season so we expected them to be one of the stronger teams. They have not had a good run so far, and are currently sitting bottom, but you can’t read too much into that. They have signed some new players in the past few weeks and they will treat this game as a chance to get back to winning ways and therefore an opportunity to turn their season around. So we will have to be fully focused.
“It should be a good game and it is one we look forward to.”
