“I am delighted to have made my debut.

“I didn’t know wherever I was coming or going from St Johnstone but I am happy to be here.

“St Johnstone obviously wanted to keep me but they said that until its solved I wouldn’t play, that is why I never played the last couple of games.

“I am delighted to get it out of the way and be at Aberdeen.

Fitness

“I only trained once with the boys and the gaffer threw me straight in.

“Personally, I was delighted to get the nod from the gaffer to start today and to0 get 90 minutes under my belt.

“I have only been here for so many hours, I have trained once with the boys. It is difficult when you don’t know them that well.

“I hadn’t played since the last game before the winter break and it is good to get my fitness up.

“I am sure that I will get better the fitter that I get.

Chances

“We are disappointed that we didn’t win the game.

“We are obviously disappointed not to get the three points. This is a big club and the fans expect us to win every game. We have got good players here.

“We want to win every game.

“We have just got to keep our heads up and go again next week.

“We got into some good areas today.

“There was a chance at the end, a cut back and there was four of us there to put it in the net, but we got into each other’s way.

“We are getting in good areas; it will just be a matter of time until the goals come.

“For me, I will get better every game that I play and the fitter that I get and hopefully I can create more chances.

“It is a good dressing room. I played with four or five of them before I came here so they have been welcoming to me.

“It is a good group of lads. It is a close changing room and hopefully I will get settled soon.”
