“We are all striving to get three points. We have had a good break, we had a friendly and were able to get the girls a run out who needed a run out. Some of the girls have been with Scotland U19’s and played a lot of football as well. It has been fairly action packed over the two week break that we have had. We have had a lot going on. We have worked really well with the girls who have been left, we are in a really good place and a confident place. We are looking forward to the game and hopefully it can kick start us off.

“We are desperate for our first three points of the season. We don’t feel as if it is a million miles away. We are on the right path. We just need to put a performance together for 90 minutes and hopefully that starts on Sunday.

“The Oriam is a place and an area that we are used to. We have had a positive result down there but we have also had a negative result as well. Hearts have invested quite a bit of money and have brought in quite a few good players into their squad as well. It is one that we go down with positive memoires and one that we can pick up three points in if we put on a performance and hopefully that is what we do on Sunday.

“The friendly matches were good for everyone. Our season has been a little bit stop-start so it was good to get that game in. It was good to get onto the ball and have a lot of possession. It helped massively for minutes, for confidence, it was good to get goals and good to get a clean sheet. Hopefully we can take that forward and start to build on it.

“We have had a tough run of fixtures. We haven’t picked up the points that we thought that we would have. The confidence has always been there. The longer it goes, it does start to drag and drag. Every night the girls come into training, their effort and application has been absoueltly fantastic. We work so hard and put everything into it. As long as you have that you know it is going to come. It is a really good squad with really good players within it. Something is going to give. It has to happen sooner or later, we can’t continue the way that we are. As a coaching group, as players, as a club, we are all confident that we are going to do that. Hopefully we get off on the right foot come Sunday.”
