“They were close to full strength; I have seen a lot of things saying they were not at full strength, but they were. The experience to go and play against a side like that was good and there is a lot of positives we can take from it. They had a lot of good level of player and international players.

“We have no time to dwell on Sporting. Ross County will be a different test, it will be a tough game, but we are looking to get the three points. We were on a good run before Motherwell, but we got caught cold.

“It is about how you react to a defeat and hopefully we do that on Sunday with three points.”
