“I just pulled on the shoulder of the centre half, I thought he was going to nick it. It was a great ball and I was just there to tuck it away.

“I felt like I could build on that performance and today I got the goal and completed 90 minutes which is always an aim.
“The manager is open and honest. We have had conversations throughout the season. It is a competitive squad and it is about putting myself in a position to be in the squad and in the team.
“I have no doubt that me and Sam can play together. We had good spells in the game where we linked up really well and the team linked up really well. Overall, we can be pleased, especially attacking wise the way we played today.
“I am looking forward to the next game. I want to be on the park playing minutes and scoring goals. That’s what I came to do.
“Behind the scenes in training everyday I try and work as hard as possible to put myself in the position so when the opportunities do come, I am there to take them.
“Cormack Park is excellent. It is going to be a huge benefit to the team and to the football club. I know everyone is really excited to get in there and start working full time.”
