Ash Taylor | Celtic Preview

Refresh

Looking ahead towards the trip to Celtic Park on Saturday, Ash Taylor was the player who spoke to the press this week:

“Celtic have lost their manager, but it doesn’t change anything for us or how we approach the game really. They’re a good side with a lot of good players with points to prove and we’re fully aware of the threats they can pose. But equally, we need to look at where we can hurt them and impose ourselves on the game and that’s the attitude we’ll take into it.

“I think we’ve been unfortunate in the games against them this season. The 3-3 draw here was a game we could have won, we did well at Celtic Park last week, so we go there with some confidence and belief that we can get a good result.

“I thought we played well there last week, especially in the second half. Going on and getting the win against Kilmarnock last Saturday was pleasing, so I think we can go into the game with some confidence. We’re at the stage of the season where it’s all about results so we’re going there to try and win the game. We know how important three points would be.

“The expectations at this club are high and so they should be, we know that as players here. We have to rise to that and get the results. That’s all that matters when you get to this point of the season and I’ll take an ugly win right now if that’s what it needs on Saturday.”
