“It is really good to be back. It has been a long 13 weeks since our last game with Kilmarnock.

“The girls have been good at keeping themselves ticking over, they got a strength and conditioning programme from the club which helped them through lockdown. They have got some miles in their legs but it is great to have them back on the pitch and getting used to a football again.

“We have been in regular contact with the girls during lockdown via Zoom and we have tried to mix up the chats we have had so it is not just about football. We had Hannah Miley come and join us for one of the conversations which was really informative for everyone.

“Hopefully we can get a few weeks of a pre season under our belt before we start playing games again and the plan is to hit the ground running when we do get back to playing games.”
