Kelle Roos was on media duties this week as the goalkeeper looked ahead to our massive cinch Premiership match with Hibernian at Pittodrie. RedTV subscribers can watch the press conference with Kelle in the video above.

“I think it is amazing that this group of players and management (the Gothenburg Greats) get the acknowledgment that they deserve for making beautiful history for this football club. We are trying to focus on Saturday. I am sure the former players will enjoy Friday and Saturday as well. We are trying to make it an even better weekend by trying to get all three points.

“We look like a unit. Everything that a football team should look like, we are looking like at the moment. We are going toe to toe with the best teams. Everybody is feeling great and I am as well. I saw that Duk made the PFA Scotland Team of the Year as well, which is an amazing achievement for him. I think another couple of our players could have been in contention for that. It shows that we have stepped up our game and we are serious about wanting to get European football.

“As a defensive unit I think that we have been solid. I have really enjoyed working with Mattie, Angus and Liam. We have knitted together really quickly. We can rely on each others qualities. As soon as we can do that, you know what the guy next to you can do. It helps me and it helps them as well. We have to keep going and continue to be organised every week. We need to be hard to beat because that gives us the platform for the strikers to make all of the headlines and that is what we want.

“All of the teams in the top six have their own pressure. Our pressure is that we are getting chased but we can’t look at that too much. We just need to get results over the line from game to game, if we do that and we are consistent with that we will be fine.

“If I am honest I don’t think there is anyone who wants European football more than me. I would love to play European football. The whole team wants that, the management wants that, so luckily we are all pulling in the same direction. At the moment we are looking like one strong unit.”
