Aberdeen City Trophy Tour

Presented by Gary Walker Wealth Management

In an effort to share our Scottish Cup success with as many people as possible, the club invited supporters far and wide to register their interest in receiving a visit from the historic trophy, and the response was overwhelming!

Over 500 organisations registered their interest in hosting the Scottish Cup, and to kick things off, the trophy made its way around every postcode in Aberdeen.

The Aberdeen City Trophy Tour, presented by Gary Walker Wealth Management, took place throughout September, giving as many Dons supporters as possible the chance to see the historic trophy up close and personal, visiting each Aberdeen city postcode in the first phase of the trophy tour.

“Working with Aberdeen FC on the Scottish Cup Trophy Tour was a fantastic experience for everyone here at Trinity Centre. The event brought incredible energy to the heart of the city, giving our customers and supporters a memorable opportunity to celebrate the club’s remarkable achievement.

It was a pleasure to welcome not only the Trophy, but also Angus the Bull, Donny the Sheep, and members of the AFC Community Trust team, whose presence helped shine a spotlight on the outstanding work they do across Aberdeen and the Shire.

We truly value our growing partnership with Aberdeen FC, whose professionalism and commitment to the community align perfectly with our own values. We look forward to building on this collaboration and creating even more special moments for Aberdeen together.”

Highlands & Islands Trophy Tour

Presented by NorthLink Ferries

Building on the success of the Aberdeen City leg of the Scottish Cup Trophy Tour, the historic trophy made it’s way to Shetland and Orkney for the Highlands & Islands leg.

Presented by NorthLink Ferries, the Highlands & Islands Trophy Tour visited Shetland and Orkney earlier this month, with the aim of building a long-term relationship with the strong Dons-supporting community in these areas.

The trophy will continue its journey to Aberdeenshire and beyond, as well as other venues in Aberdeen not included in the first phase of the tour.

Silver Fin Welcomes the Scottish Cup: A Celebration of AFC

The Silver Fin Building on Union Street was honoured to host the Aberdeen FC Community Trust — along with the iconic Scottish Cup trophy.

The visit to the Silver Fin office gave everyone an exciting opportunity to celebrate the success, learn more about the incredible work of the Community Trust, and capture a photo with the trophy.

The reception lobby, where the cup was displayed and AFCCT had set up, was full of pride and excitement as staff from all companies located in the building engaged with AFC and the Trust representatives. It was a privilege to be part of that continuing celebration and to welcome the trophy into our workplace.

We’re also thrilled to share that, thanks to the generosity of those in the Silver Fin Building, we raised an amazing £407 to donate towards the Aberdeen FC Community Trust whose programmes help to make a real difference in the lives of people across our city and the shire.

Thank you to Aberdeen FC, the Community Trust, and everyone who made this event such a success.
