The Dons this morning flew from Aberdeen to Athens ahead of tomorrow night’s UEFA Conference League match with AEK Athens in Greece.

Before boarding the plane, captain Graeme Shinnie sat down with RedTV to preview the match.

“I love these trips. When you play in Scotland for so long you get used to playing against teams quite a lot during the season. I think the European games give you something different, the travelling the day before, we will train at the stadium tonight, a different climate over there.

“The games are always different to what Scottish football is, there is a European style to them. They are games that we love. I absolutely love these games and I am grateful to be involved in games like this and I can’t wait.”
