Bridget Galloway looks ahead to Sunday's action
After her dramatic leveller last time out, Aberdeen Women striker Bridget Galloway took the time to preview our match against Celtic this weekend.
“It felt really good. It was a great moment for me.
“I knew I had to make a difference when I came on and impact the game in some way. It just so happened to be the last minute of the game, very dramatic!“I have been impressed by the league. The standards have been really good, both in training and in games. I think it’s only going to get better.
“Sunday wasn’t our best performance on the pitch. We’ve had a chance to put things right in training this week, and we are doing our best to get ready for the weekend.
“There’s been a response from all the girls. Everyone’s dug deep and put things right in training. It’s been competitive, it’s what you need going into the game this weekend.
“I think we’ve just got to take each game as it comes. We’re faced with different challenges every week, different tactics to put into practice. I think we’ve just got to take every chance as best we can.
“I feel like I’m ready to go now. I’ve just been patient and waiting for my chance.
“It will be an interesting game. Celtic are a good team, but we’re up for the challenge. It’ll be great to play against good opposition. So, yeah, everybody’s looking forward to it.
“There has been a lot of analysis this week, looking at the ways that we can get at them and take advantage of their weaknesses. I’m excited.
“My dad’s been up for a few games. It’s really good that it’s on TV this weekend, I know everyone will be tuned in back home.
“Fingers crossed we can put on a good performance for them.”
