Aberdeen City Scottish Cup Trophy Tour
Presented by Gary Walker Wealth Management
In an effort to share our Scottish Cup success with as many people as possible, the club recently invited supporters far and wide to register their interest in receiving a visit from the historic trophy, and the response was overwhelming!
Over 500 organisations registered their interest in hosting the Scottish Cup, and to kick things off, the trophy will be making its way around every postcode in Aberdeen.
The Aberdeen City Trophy Tour, presented by Gary Walker Wealth Management, will take place throughout September with the aim of giving as many Dons supporters as possible the chance to see the historic trophy up close and personal.
This phase of the tour will start off in AB10 with the Scottish Cup set to appear at Robert Gordon University’s Welcome Fayre on Thursday 11th September. Between then and the end of the month, the trophy will visit each Aberdeen city postcode in the first phase of the trophy tour. This will also include an open event at Pittodrie.
Ahead of visits where the trophy is being made available to the general public, details will be published via the Aberdeen FC and AFCCT social media channels.
Once the Aberdeen City phase has been completed, the trophy will make its way to Aberdeenshire and beyond, as well as visiting other venues in the city not included in this first phase of the tour.
Our team is in the process of reviewing all submissions and developing a schedule that is both practical and inclusive, allowing us to maximise the reach of the tour.
While we will be unable to accommodate all of these requests, we are committed to reaching as many communities, organisations, and supporters as possible before the end of this year.
If your request is selected, a member of staff from the club will be in touch directly with further details.
