Dons right-back Alexander Jensen is full of belief that his side can still progress to the Europa League after the 2-2 draw with FCSB.

“We kept going and showed great character in the second half. We made these two goals and so there’s still a game to play next week. Hopefully we can do well there. We know it’s going to be a tough game down there, and we know they’re an experienced team in Europe, but hopefully we can do it.

“In these games, when we play those kind of teams with a lot of quality, we know we can’t do mistakes like we did, because they will score from it. There’s a lot of good things to take with us, but also that we know we have to stay sharp throughout the whole game to be competitive.

“I actually think we did quite well before they scored. We know maybe they’re going to be a bit different when they’re at home, but we know they’re good, especially on the counter. We have to improve that bit and then keep doing what we did on the ball, and just keep developing as a team as well.

“They are experienced in Europe, they have that quality, when you give them half a chance, they’re going to score. So, we have to not give them chances, because they do not miss. But we had a lot of possession in the game and hopefully we can do the same performance down there.

“We created so many chances, we know we can hurt them, so hopefully we can take that into the next game and improve where we should improve and then hopefully we can get a great result.

“We have to try and find maybe even more crosses and be even more dangerous because I think we caused problems with this. I think we’ll keep improving. We’re still a new team with new guys, so I think we’ll be better game by game. And the more training time we get together, the more we’ll improve.

“We’re a very strong squad, and it’s amazing to see that we can have such good players on the bench, good competition inside the squad, and everyone has to be 100 per cent to make it to the starting XI. I think that’s positive.

“Dante always brings something good. He scored a goal today, so it was good to see. I’ve heard about the goal he scored against Frankfurt! Obviously, he loves the European games, I guess.

“It’s good that we can have the week now to fully focus on that game. It’s good the league has made it that way so we can focus on going to Bucharest, without playing this weekend.”
