AFCCT is the independent partner charity of Aberdeen Football Club and, together with the ‘hook’ of football, utilises the Club’s high profile, brand and connections to enhance the delivery of the trust’s charitable objectives to benefit local communities and positively influence others.

We’re looking for a motivated individual to lead and deliver innovative Education and Youth Work programmes initially within a City Academy in Aberdeen City. This fixed-term role (immediate start to Summer 2026) includes developing alternative curriculum approaches, partnering with local authorities, supporting after-school and holiday activities, and contributing to wider community initiatives

This position is focused on supporting young people within a secondary school environment. The successful candidate will have experience working with adolescents in educational settings, demonstrating a strong ability to engage and build meaningful relationships with students. The role involves guiding pupils through challenging circumstances, fostering resilience, and helping them achieve positive outcomes both academically and personally. A key aspect of the role is to work collaboratively with staff and external partners to ensure that each young person feels supported, understood, and empowered to thrive.

This is a full-time position (35 hours per week) which may include occasional evening or weekend work. The role offers a blend of office-based and off-site responsibilities, with flexibility for hybrid working arrangements where appropriate.
