With William Hill League’s One and Two in action during the weekend and the Highland League sides involved in another double game week, there has been plenty action for our Development Dons over the last seven days.

Alfie Stewart, Alfie Bavidge | On Loan At: Inverness Caledonian Thistle | Match: Inverness 1-2 Stenhousemuir

Both Alfie’s were involved in Inverness’s home defeat at the hands of Stenhousemuir on Saturday, with midfielder Stewart playing 90 minutes in the middle of the park. Bavidge was introduced on the hour with the game level but was unable to find the net on this occasion with his side falling to an 81st minute winner for the away team.

Dylan Ross, Noah McDonnell, Jamie Mercer | On Loan At: Elgin City | Match: Dumbarton 1-1 Elgin City

Defenders Dylan Ross and Noah McDonnell were unused substitutes for our co-operation club at Borough Briggs as Elgin City drew 1-1 with Dumbarton, with Jamie Mercer not involved.

Theo Simpson, Aaron Cummings | On Loan At: Buckie Thistle | Matches: Buckie Thistle 1-4 Strathspey Thistle & Brechin 5-0 Buckie Thistle

It’s been a tricky week for Buckie Thistle who have suffered back-to-back heavy Highland League defeats. A 4-1 loss at home to Strathspey on Wednesday was compounded by a 5-0 defeat at top of the league Brechin on the Saturday. Goalkeeper Theo Simpson was an unused substitute in both games, with Aaron Cummings starting against Strathspey and featuring off the bench at Glebe Park.

Zak To, Jack Searle | On Loan At: Keith FC | Matches: Deveronvale 3-2 Keith FC & Keith FC 0-2 Clachnacuddin

It was also a double game week for Zak and Jack up at Keith who lost both fixtures in the Highland League. The pair both featured from the start away to Devernovale during the week, with To retaining his starting position and Searle featuring as a substitute in the home defeat at the hands of the Clach.

Tristan Stephen, Oliver Green, Sam McLean | On Loan At: Lossiemouth | Matches: Clachnacuddin 5-0 Lossiemouth & Lossiemouth 0-0 Formartine United

The Lossie trio were kept busy with a double game week in the Highland League, and it was defender Oliver Green who started both games – a 5-0 defeat away at Clachnacuddin and a 0-0 draw at home to Formartine United. Tristan Stephen featured as a substitute against Formartine, and Sam McLean did the same against Clach.

Conner Douglas, Bradley Chikomo | Inverurie Loco Works | Matches: Inverurie Loco Works 1-4 Forres Mechanics & Fraserburgh 2-2 Inverurie Loco Works

The Locos got their first points of 25/26 on the board with an important draw away to Fraserburgh on Saturday to stem their run of defeats after losing 4-1 to Forres Mechanics at Harlaw Park on the Wednesday. Conner Douglas started both games in goals, with Bradley Chikomo introduced off the bench against the Can Cans and an unused sub at Belsea Park.

Findlay Marshall | On Loan At: Arbroath

With Arbroath already eliminated from Premier Sports Cup action it was a free weekend for midfielder Findlay Marshall with the William Hill Championship on pause.

Cooper Masson, Joseph Teasdale, Lewis Carrol | On Loan At: Kelty Hearts

Our League One co-operation club also had a free weekend due to their originally scheduled fixture with Alloa being postponed, with Cooper, Joseph, and Lewis not involved in any action.

An Aberdeen Development Side will be back in action on Wednesday night, they play Banks O’Dee at Spain Park in the second round of the Aberdeenshire Shield. Kick-off is 8PM.
