With the recent strategic changes made to our youth pathway, we have a number of players out on loan across the country.
Throughout the season we will keep an eye on how everyone is getting on during their time away from the club.
Findlay Marshall | Arbroath
Findlay started in Friday night’s William Hill Championship season opener at Gayfield against Ayr United, playing 72 minutes as his newly promoted side rescued a point at the death on flag day thanks to Nikolay Todorov’s 89th minute leveller.
Arbroath travel South to take on Queen’s Park on Saturday.
Noah McDonnell, Jamie Mercer, Dylan Ross | Elgin City
Our League 2 cooperation club side Elgin lost out 3-2 to Annan Athletic on Saturday, with defender Noah McDonnell the only Dons representative to feature, coming off the bench to play the last six minutes.
They welcome SPFL new boys East Kilbride this weekend as they look to bounce back.
Cooper Masson, Lewis Carrol, Joseph Teasdale & Alfie Stewart, Alfie Bavidge | Kelty Hearts v Inverness CT
It was a Dons v Dons face off in Fife on Saturday with our League 1 cooperation club, Kelty Hearts, facing off against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The away side ran away with a 3-0 victory, with midfielder Alfie Stewart playing the full 90 in the middle of the park. The recently re-signed Alfie Bavidge made his second debut off the bench, playing the last 20 minutes.
Cooper Masson started for Kelty, with Lewis Carrol and Joseph Teasdale introduced from the bench in the closing stages.
Kelty head to Montrose this weekend, while ICT will return to the Caledonian Stadium to play Peterhead.
Theo Simpson, Aaron Cummings & Sam McLean, Tristan Stephen, Oliver Green | Buckie Thistle v Lossiemouth
Aaron Cummings started for Buckie in their 2-1 victory over Lossiemouth to make it three wins from three, with goalkeeper Theo Simpson on the bench for the home side at Victoria Park.
For Lossie, Tristan Stephen and Oliver Green were missing from the matchday squad. Sam Mclean was named on the bench and was introduced for the final 20 minutes.
Aaron and Theo’s Buckie head to Keith to face against some familiar faces on Saturday, while Lossiemouth are in action in the North of Scotland Cup against an Inverness CT B team on Wednesday.
Jack Searle, Zak To | Banks O’Dee v Keith
Both Jack and Zak started for Keith at Spain Park on Saturday.
To played the full game as The Maroons grabbed a point on their trip into the city, with Searle playing just shy of 70 minutes.
Conner Douglas | Inverurie Loco Works v Huntly
‘Keeper Douglas was an unused substitute for Dean Donaldson’s Inverurie on Saturday afternoon as they slipped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Huntly.
Locos will be aiming to recover from an unexpected poor start to their league season, losing their first three, when they make the long journey North to play Brora on Saturday.
